Edan Naturals is proud to offer high speed encapsulation with our Italian Zanasi 40 encapsulation machines. Edan can run capsules in a variety of sizes ranging from ones to double O’s. Edan uses 2 piece hard gelatin and vegetarian capsules.

To manufacture nutritional supplement capsules in a quality fashion it is critical to formulate based on flow, particle size, and humidity and over all bulk density. The first step taken at Edan Naturals is to formulate based on specific criteria so we can consistently reproduce a quality product for you our customer. The next step in the process is to run simulated production trials. The trial batches are the process we use to verify that the raw materials are consistent for future production.

Once the simulated production trials meet product specific criteria, our quality control department verifies the results to ensure quality production. We then generate a batch record for documentation through the manufacturing process. Ingredient weights are documented and taken from the inventory records to generate the mixing report. After mixing is complete the products are weighed and sampled before going to the Nutritional Supplement encapsulation services department for the start of production. After production starts individual capsule weights are taken every 15 minutes. This ensures the customer is getting what they are paying for. After this process the capsules move on to packaging.
